Do you have a family, work full-time, and have other obligations that keep you busy? If so, you are just like the 300+ adult students enrolled in the Evening Program. If you are ready to complete your degree, we are here to help you every step of the way and that includes helping you with financial aid.

Do You Worry About How You Can Pay Tuition?

At Columbia College, your education will not cost as much as you think, and we are here to help you figure it all out so you can enroll.

The real question is:

What it is costing you not to have a degree?

Earning your bachelor's degree will cost you time, energy, and money, but the value of your experience and the education you receive is an excellent investment. You will know from your first phone call to admissions that we care about you and are here to answer your questions about everything from admisson to financial aid.

You have options for paying tuition, fees, and buying books.

  • Pay by Cash
  • Pay by Check
  • Pay Monthly Payments using TMS, Tuition Management Systems
  • Pay by Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express)
  • Use VA (veteran) benefits
  • Tuition reimbursement - many local employers offer reimbursement for employees that pursue a college degree. Ask your Human Resources office if you are eligible to receive reimbursement for courses completed that meet the requirements of your company.
  • File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which determines eligibility to receive
    • Federal Pell Grant
    • South Carolina Tuition Grant
    • Federal Stafford Subsidized Loans
    • Federal Stafford Unsubsidized Loans    

When you file the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov, enter the Columbia College (CC) federal code, 003430. An electronic copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) will be sent to CC. Once  you have been accepted, a financial aid counselor will award you the aid for which you are eligible to receive.CC awards aid to qualified applicants regardless of race, religious creed, place of national origin, ethnic group or physical disability.
