The Information Technology department is part of the Library and Information Technology Services (LITS) division and is located in Edens Library on the lower level.
The IT staff provide a variety of services and resources for students, faculty and staff, ranging from standard technical support, to training in specially equipped classrooms, to multimedia equipment for video production.
All members of the campus community are strongly encouraged to review the Columbia College Computer Policies.
How to access Koala Connection, KC
- Go to Koala Connection
- Your user name is your six digit student ID number
- Your initial password is/was cc+the last four digits of your SSN (ex: cc9876)
- If you have changed your password or forgotten it, click "I forgot my password" link or call the IT Help Desk at 803. 786.3007

- Go to Webmail
- Type your username: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

There are several computer labs on campus including:
Edens Library: Overton Multi-Media Center
This lab is located on the lower level and equipped with 20 iMacs and 14 Multi Media Dell PC's stationed in the Media Center, as well as friendly tech-help at the Help Desk. (Click here for more details.) Lab hours are the same as Library.
Edens Library: Collaborative Technologies Lab
Room 121 (lower level). This lab is equipped with 8 stations that each have five chairs, a 37 inch screen, PC and a switch that allows users to connect a laptop to the screen. This room is ideal for group work and group projects, and the room is also equipped with a SMARTBoard for instruction.
Bush Science Center Computer Lab
Room 121. Equipped with 24 PC’s, 1 instructor PC and two network printers. This lab is sometimes reserved as a teaching classroom, otherwise it is open 24/7 for student use.
Breed Leadership Center Computer Lab
Room 304. This lab is equipped with 24 PC’s, Instructor workstation, and two network printers.This lab is sometimes reserved as a teaching classroom, otherwise it is open 24/7 for student use.
NOTE: Students are required to be considerate to others and treat the equipment with respect. Inappropriate behavior or abuse of the lab may result in loss of lab privileges, disciplinary action and/or charges for damage.
