Chief Cook Elected to IACLEA Board



Howard Cook, Chief of Police at Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina, has been elected to a three-year term as Director-At-Large on the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) Board of Directors. Cook was sworn in on June 22 at the IACLEA Annual Conference, along with the new Officers and 2010-2011 Board of Directors.  All Officers and Board members will take office in July 1, 2010.

The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) advances public safety for educational institutions by providing educational resources, advocacy, and professional development services. IACLEA is the leading voice for the campus public safety community.

IACLEA membership represents more than 1,200 colleges and universities in 20 countries. In addition to the colleges and universities, which are institutional members, IACLEA has 2,200 individual memberships held by campus law enforcement staff, criminal justice faculty members, and municipal chiefs of police.
