Kneece Hall

Kneece Hall offers eight single-occupant rooms and six double-occupant rooms in a cottage-style living arrangement. The ground floor includes a common living area and kitchen. The second level includes an additional common living area with a balcony overlooking the garden court below. Kneece Hall and Knox Hall are designed as a matching pair, facing each other across a private garden court.

Kneece Hall was made possible by a contribution from Martha Smith Kneece '55 of Gilbert, S.C. Kneece spent 34 years as a corporate secretary of Pond Branch Telephone Company in Gilbert before her retirement in 1997. She has served on the board of Lexington Medical Center and on the Columbia College Board of Visitors and Board of Trustees. She has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Columbia College and the Columbia College Medallion. She also received, in 2000, the State of South Carolina's highest honor, The Order of the Palmetto.

Kneece Hall opened in 2002.
