The 2021 Campus Climate Survey is in the books. The survey of Columbia College's students, faculty, and staff was first administered in 2011 and then again in 2016. The questions have largely remained the same, with new questions regarding campus Title IX resources being added to this year’s survey.
The survey invites feedback from the College's internal audiences to measure perceptions about the institution's identity as a safe and welcoming place for a diverse group of people.
The 2021 Campus Climate Survey revealed:
- A very strong sense that understanding differences is essential to being a successful leader.
- A high percentage of respondents (employees and staff) who feel comfortable being themselves on campus.
- A strong sense of belonging here at Columbia College.
- Confidence that the College values diversity.
