Artists: Anna Byars (Main Gallery) and Addison Graham (LOFT)

This duo reception presents two solo exhibitions with distinct yet connected explorations of the evolving relationship between humans and the natural world. Byars' exhibition titled "Transform" (Main) examines material and psychological transformation, a complementary reflection to Addison Graham's "Between Structure & Sky," which invites viewers to consider how environments merge, conflict, and define one another. Together, their work examines perception, adaptation, and the imprints left on and by the environments we inhabit.

Anna Byars is a local artist and educator working at the University of South Carolina and Columbia College. She holds a BA in Studio Art and Art History from the College of Charleston and an MFA from the University of South Carolina. Addison Graham is a full-time instructor at the University of South Carolina's School of Visual Art and Design, where she earned her MFA in Studio Art in 2024.
