SpearsFest is an annual campus-wide celebration of scholarship, creativity, and experiential learning at Columbia College. Named in honor of the College’s 12th president, Dr. R. Wright Spears, the event invites students, faculty, and staff to showcase the innovative academic work, research, and service projects taking place across campus.
Throughout the day, the College hosts conference-style presentations, panels, and interactive sessions in classrooms and event spaces, offering opportunities for both individual and group participation. The celebration continues into the evening with featured programs in Spears Concert Hall and the College Place Chapel.
Classes held before 5 p.m. are canceled to encourage full community participation in this signature event honoring collaboration, leadership, and service.
