Class News

Mary Alice Batten, Class of 1956, now has 2 great grands that have her heart. She sees them every Wednesday and give their stay at home mom a break, they call her "GeGe" for great grands.

Amy Jenkins, Class of 1958, and her husband, George, have been blessed with their first great grandchild, Ty James Hudson, born on 9/13/2017. His grandmother is Lynn Jenkins Hammond, Class of 1981.

Susan Fox, Class of 1973 has been employed at the book store of middle Georgia State University for the past 12 years. She is currently the location manager at the Warner Robins campus. She has 4 beautiful grandchildren by her 2 sons.

Susan Marcum, Class of 1987 continues to teach music at Coram Deo Classical School in Peachtree City, Georgia, most recently producing and accompanying "The Sound of Music." She and her husband, Michael, a Delta pilot, also enjoy traveling with their 4 children: Charles (Marine Corps), Amber (Moody Aviation), Bobby (Boyce College), and Daniel (Freshman at Coram Deo).

Donna L. Holman, Class of 1990 has devoted nearly 30 years of her life to making the classroom an inviting, exciting and safe environment where students can be themselves while discovering their potential.  She recently published the book Seven Insights For Teaching Success, A Teacher’s Guide to Producing Positive Outcomes. 

Jamie Woodward, Class of 2013, has been promotion to Director of Quality Management at Richland/Lexington Disabilities and Special Needs Board
