Applicant Screening Process / Recruiting Options

The Office of Career Center can facilitate a tailored applicant screening process to meet your specific needs by screening applicants and directly referring those the best fit your needs.

Schedule an On-site Information Session

Hosting an Information Session is a great way to connect with students, expose them to your organization’s culture, and share available career opportunities through an in-person information/networking session.

Information Sessions can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours, as determined by the employer.  Typically from 12:30 – 1:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays is a great time to reach students during the day, as they have a break from classes. Evening sessions are also available and a great opportunity to target our day and evening students.

Reserve a Promotional Table in our Student Union Dinning Hall or on campus

Utilize a display table in our Dinning Hall or kiosk on campus to promote your organization, career opportunities, and connect directly with our students.  Students will be notified of your attendance and position opportunities (if provided) prior to the event.  Monday – Thursday between 11:30 – 2:00pm, is when the Student Union Dinning Hall is heavily populated.

On-Campus Interviewing & Hiring Events

The Career Center allows organizations to interview students from all majors (or specific majors) during the fall and spring semesters for full-time, salaried, and/or paid, structured internship opportunities, should that be beneficial.
