For more than five years the Columbia College Philanthropy Leadership And Community Engagement (P.L.A.C.E.) Fellowship Program has strategically collaborated with non-profits and community partners to augment new and existing community impact efforts in the Eau Claire area.

The P.L.A.C.E. Fellowship Program is a unique, four-year partnership with the Sisters of Charity Foundation and Columbia College designed to increase a student's awareness of the impact of philanthropy on community nonprofits.
