Applicant Screening Process / Recruiting Options
The Office of Career Center can facilitate a tailored applicant screening process to meet your specific needs by screening applicants and directly referring those students who best fit your needs.
Schedule an On-site Information Session
Hosting an Information Session is a great way to connect with students, expose them to your organization’s culture, and share available career opportunities through an in-person information/networking session.
Information Sessions can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours, as determined by the employer. Typically from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays is a great time to reach students during the day, as they have a break from classes. Evening sessions are also available and a great opportunity to target our day and evening students.
Facilitate an Employer-Led Workshop
Facilitate a career readiness workshop while promoting and developing your employer brand on campus and opportunities.
On-Campus Interviewing & Hiring Events
The Career Center allows organizations to interview students from all majors (or specific majors) during the fall and spring semesters for full-time, salaried, and/or paid, structured internship opportunities, should that be beneficial.
The Office of Career Services can expedite on-campus events for your company or organization during the fall and spring semesters to connect you with students to fulfill your business needs. These events can be created to promote opportunities ranging from part-time/full-time employment, temporary employment co-ops, or internships.
Reserve a Promotional Table in Our Student Union Dining Hall
Utilize a display table in our Dining Hall to promote your organization, career opportunities, and connect directly with our students. Students will be notified of your attendance and position opportunities (if provided) prior to the event. Monday – Thursday between 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. is when the Student Union Dining Hall is heavily populated.
Career Services is located at the corner of Morgan Street and Burke Avenue, directly across from the Bush Science Center.
