Ayanna Wigfall is a South Carolina native and graduate of Columbia College receiving her Master of Education in Higher Education Administration in 2020. During her undergraduate experience attending Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC where she received her bachelor's degree, she developed an interest for working in Higher Education through her involvement in various organizations, but she credits her passion for Higher Education through her involvement serving as an Orientation Leader and serving the New Student and Family Programs office as the Student Coordinator for Logistics. Recently serving in an AmeriCorps program with the Furman College Advising Corps, she worked to provide access to resources and opportunities to the Lancaster County community to promote a college-going culture for the students at Lancaster High School. At Columbia College, it is her hope to introduce students to a small and intimate institution where students can receive a personalized and private education that will prepare students personally and professionally for success.
