Chris has recently joined the Alternative Pathways for Education Certification (APEC) Center as the program manager. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and from Ashland University in Ohio with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.
Chris has worked in elementary education for 33 years. Her work experience includes teaching at the elementary Level; grades 1-6, and serving as a Title I reading teacher, student services coordinator, team leader, head teacher, assistant principal, and Dean of Students. Chris also served as a teacher mentor and college supervisor. While teaching in Perrysburg Schools, in Perrysburg Ohio, Chris served on numerous interview, curriculum, and staff development committees. She was an NCA Internal Chair, Ohio Awards for Excellence Examiner, and was honored as a Perrysburg Schools Foundation Outstanding Educator and Jennings Scholar.
