Biography

DaeLin Switzer joins Columbia College as the new Assistant Track and Field Coach, where she will focus on supporting the development of student-athletes across sprints, hurdles, and jumps. In her role, she will assist with training plans, athlete mentorship, and fostering a culture of hard work, discipline, and team spirit.

Switzer brings years of NCAA Division I experience as a track and field athlete at Missouri State University, where she specialized in high jump and hurdles. During her collegiate career, she served as a team leader and demonstrated exceptional dedication, resilience, and a strong work ethic—qualities she now brings to her coaching. Her firsthand experience competing at a high level allows her to connect with athletes and help them reach their fullest potential.

Originally from Illinois, Switzer is passionate about fitness, personal growth, and inspiring young athletes to excel both on and off the track. Outside of coaching, she enjoys spending time with her dog, cooking, and staying active. She looks forward to contributing her skills, energy, and enthusiasm to the Columbia College athletics community.
