Biography
Danielle Marino serves as the Communications and Web Manager at Columbia College, where she manages the institution’s website and develops strategic communications content, including newsletters, feature stories, and other storytelling initiatives that engage students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader community.
Prior to joining Columbia College, Danielle served as Assistant Director of Young Alumni and Student Engagement at Alvernia University in Pennsylvania. In that role, she planned and managed alumni events, fostered meaningful connections between students and alumni, and led alumni communications through email campaigns, newsletters, and social media. Her professional experience includes event planning, print and digital communications, social media management, website content creation, storytelling, and relationship building. Danielle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from East Stroudsburg University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Alvernia University.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Danielle enjoys connecting with people, exploring new places, and discovering local businesses. Outside of work, she can often be found vacationing in Myrtle Beach, spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, trying new restaurants, or browsing local book and coffee shops. Her passion for storytelling and building meaningful connections continues to shape both her professional and personal pursuits.
