Biography
Dr. Heidari is the Martha Youmans Edens Professor of English at Columbia College, where she teaches American literature. Her book publications include “To Find My Own Peace”: Grace King in Her Journals, 1886- 1910 (University of Georgia Press, 2004) and Nineteenth-Century Southern Women Writers: Grace King and Modernism, co-edited with Brigitte Zaugg (Routledge Press, 2019). In addition to her scholarship on Grace King, she has published and presented papers on other 19th-century writers, with a special interest in American gothic fiction.
