Dr. Reggie Wicker is an experienced educator and administrator who currently serves as the Director of Personnel in District Five of Lexington and Richland Counties. He served in Newberry County School District as a bus driver, teacher, Parenting Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and for seven years he was the Principal at Newberry Elementary School. He continued his career as the Director of Elementary Education in Union County School District and most recently he was the Coordinator of Special Projects in Richland County School District One.
Dr. Wicker was the first Campus Director for the Call Me MiSTER Program at Newberry College. The program quickly increased its membership in the cohort and gained in-state and out-of-state accolades for its solid structure and wholesome sessions held during the Spring Summit. His vision for the Call Me MiSTER initiative at Columbia College is to create a strong, collaborative and engaging program while equipping aspiring young male educators with the necessary tools to effectively teach students in America’s diverse classrooms.
Wicker received his Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Newberry College, Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton, and his Doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership from Walden University.
