Biography
Helena Jokanovic’s journey began in Perth, Australia, where her passion for people and tennis first took shape. Tennis opened the door for her to come to the United States, where she earned her Associate of Arts from Eastern Florida State College. She then transferred to Columbia College, completing her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing while also competing on the women’s tennis team.
During her time at Columbia, Helena served as a Resident Assistant, an experience that deepened her interest in student development and community building. That passion now guides her in her role as Area Coordinator for Upper Classmen in the Division of Student Affairs, where her office in Wesley Hall 117 serves as a space for guidance and connection.
Outside of work, Helena enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and playing tennis whenever she can.
