What do you love about working at Columbia College?

The staff here at Columbia College are so open and inviting. You can tell they are proud to be a Koala, the individuals who work here are not just colleagues they are family and I LOVE THAT!!!

What did you enjoy most about being a college student?

One thing I enjoyed most about being a college student were the connections I made. Friends that I now consider to be family.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Become the master of your sail! This is a time to learn your strengths and your weaknesses and capitalize on them. If you know you're not a morning person, try to find a schedule that's accommodating. If you study better in quieter spaces...find a space in the library. College is about learning, which includes learning more about yourself.

Why did you become an admissions counselor?

I became an admissions counselor because I remember being a college student and wishing I had someone who could help me navigate through things. I want to be that for my students.
