Kathleen was born and raised just outside of New York City, in New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from a small environmental liberal arts college in the mountains of Vermont where she ran cross country, played tennis, and worked on farms. After college Kathleen spent two years in National Service with AmeriCorps in Florida before finding her way to higher education. After working in college admissions for a year, Kathleen was drawn to working with current students, so Academic Advising was a perfect fit when she came to Columbia College.
When she’s not working you can find her somewhere outdoors; running, hiking, gardening, exploring new places, or trying new food at Soda City. Kathleen is very excited by all that Columbia has to offer, especially the warm weather and abundance of outdoor activities. She looks forward to continuing to learn more about the southern culture and trying all the southern food she can find!
