What’s your favorite thing about living in Columbia?

My favorite thing about living in Columbia is the sense of community as well as seeing just how much the area has grown and evolved - being born and raised in Columbia (right here in the 29203 zip code,) attending college here, and now raising a family in the greater-Columbia area. I also have a unique perspective, having lived in another state for a number of years (post-college) and returning to the area - as this certainly further punctuates the growth. I am grateful for the opportunity to live, work and raise a family in an area with a smaller-town feel and values, while also having plentiful career, educational and recreational opportunities. I am thankful to have such deep roots connected to Columbia and I'm excited to make an impact within a community that first gave to me, and one that I am deeply passionate about!
