Biography
Matt Troutman joined Columbia College in August 2025 as the Dean of Students, bringing 24 years of experiences working at six colleges in student activities, care services, conduct, and residence life and housing. Dean Troutman is a student-centered administrator, educator, and advocate. He has a bachelors degree in social and behavioral sciences, as well as a masters degree in higher education and student affairs administration. He is currently working on his dissertation to finish his doctorate in organizational leadership. Dean Troutman’s goal is for every Columbia College student to feel like they belong.
