Penny Bellesen

Penny Bellesen joined Columbia College as Executive Assistant to the President. Penny brings more than 25 years of experience providing high-level executive support across higher education, healthcare, and corporate organizations. She served as Executive Assistant to the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Carolina, and previously as Executive Assistant to the President at the University of Minnesota, where she worked closely with senior leadership, coordinated sensitive and complex administrative functions, and managed the daily operations of the President’s Office. Penny’s deep experience supporting boards, coordinating major events, and serving as a trusted liaison to diverse stakeholders makes her a strong addition to the President's Office Staff.
