Waleska, GA – Columbia College (SC) Austin Gunnels has been named the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday (Sept. 5). Nathan Thompson of Bluefield earned the Offensive Player of the Week.
Parker, a 6-0 graduate transfer goalkeeper from Clover, SC (Limestone College), had 11 saves (.846 save percentage) as the Koalas played to a 2-2 tie with Trinity Baptist (Fla.).
Columbia College will return to action, tomorrow, Wednesday, Sept. 7, when they host Toccoa Falls at 6 PM in Younts Stadium.
