The online program is intended for students with an Associate’s degree in a non-clinical allied health field.

Course Requirements

Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Studies

This degree requires a minimum of 120 hours of core courses, general education and electives. Up to 90 credit hours may be transferred into the program. Courses are taught in 5-week modules.

Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Studies

This degree requires a minimum of 120 hours of core courses, general education and electives. Up to 90 credit hours may be transferred into the program. Courses are taught in 5-week modules.

Core Curriculum 

Students in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science program must take the following core curriculum courses, as well as 12 semester hours in a concentration. In addition, BS students must also take a Survey of Chemistry course and a Microbiology for Health Professionals course.
