- Admissions Administrative Assistant & Events Coordinator
The Columbia College Admissions Office is seeking an individual for its open full-time Administrative Assistant and Admissions Events Coordinator position. Some duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:1. Answer all incoming phone lines and direct calls as necessary. Maintain all associated voice mailboxes
2. Enter leads into student database system
3. Enter and log incoming applicant data including transcripts, test scores and letters of recommendation into student database system
4. Coordinate campus visits for prospective students and their families as well as admissions events such as Open Houses, Accepted Student Days and Overnights
5. Organize office supply orders on a regular basis. Maintain inventory of all marketing and promotional materials.
Candidates should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, have data entry experience, exhibit good interpersonal skills, and be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at one time. Experience in higher education a plus, but not required.
- Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Public Health
Columbia College is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Public Health beginning August 15, 2018. Responsibilities for this position will include teaching in both the exercise science and community and public health programs and assuming the role of program coordinator for both programs. Columbia College is a liberal arts college that highly values the teacher/scholar model. - Assistant Professor of Psychology
The Division of Behavioral Studies and Human Inquiry is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment in Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2018. The position requires teaching twelve hours of undergraduate courses per semester and emphasizes service to the college and community. A terminal degree in clinical/counseling psychology or counselor education from an accredited institution is required as well as current licensure. Teaching responsibilities include introduction to psychology, psychological disorders, personality, clinical/counseling psychology, group process, and relevant electives on a rotating basis. Additional duties include advising, committee service, and student internship supervision.
- Patrol Officer
Under occasional supervision, performs specialized work to ensure the safety and well-being of the College students, faculty, staff, and the public as well as the enforcement of Columbia College rules, regulations, policies and guidelines; local, city, county, state, and federal laws. Responds to routine and emergency police situations. Reports to the Corporal or other assigned officer or supervisor.
- Project Manager | McNair Center
The project manager will administer programs provided by the McNair Center for Entrepreneurism and the community outreach programs and services offered by Columbia College. You will detail arrangements for programs in tandem with the executive director. Serve as database manager; handle registration functions for all programs and oversees implementation of CRM strategies. Compile surveys and prepares summary reports for programs. Oversee marketing production and delivery functions. Serve as the office administrator and direct first impressions. Serve as ambassador of the College, including other college programs, admissions and advancement.
Please note this position is part-time, temporary position through 7.31.2018. and twenty-eight (28) work hours weekly.
