Assistant Professor of Psychology

The Division of Behavioral Studies and Human Inquiry is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment in Psychology at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2018. The position requires teaching twelve hours of undergraduate courses per semester and emphasizes service to the college and community. A terminal degree in clinical/counseling psychology or counselor education from an accredited institution is required as well as current licensure. Teaching responsibilities include introduction to psychology, psychological disorders, personality, clinical/counseling psychology, group process, and relevant electives on a rotating basis. Additional duties include advising, committee service, and student internship supervision.


Chief Nurse Administrator

Columbia College is seeking applicants for a Chief Nurse administrator to oversee its Nursing program.  Responsibilities for this position will include teaching in the nursing program, overseeing the program, and completing and maintaining CCNE accreditation.


Director of Teacher Education & Accreditation

Assists in the management of activities related to student progress through the teacher education programs, accreditation of the Educator Preparation Provider (EPP), and maintenance of division data.

Education, Experiences and Skills Required for Position:

1.    Master’s degree
2.    Understanding of South Carolina certification policies and issues
3.    Understanding and experience with CAEP accreditation requirements
4.    Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
5.    Proficiency in spreadsheet, database and word processing programs


Project Manager | McNair Center

The project manager will administer programs provided by the McNair Center for Entrepreneurism and the community outreach programs and services offered by Columbia College. You will detail arrangements for programs in tandem with the executive director. Serve as database manager; handle registration functions for all programs and oversees implementation of CRM strategies. Compile surveys and prepares summary reports for programs. Oversee marketing production and delivery functions. Serve as the office administrator and direct first impressions. Serve as ambassador of the College, including other college programs, admissions and advancement.

Please note this position is part-time, temporary position through 7.31.2018. and twenty-eight (28) work hours weekly.
