February 8, 2024

Victory Day is Columbia College’s annual day of giving. We will celebrate Victory Day on Thursday, February 8, 2024 in celebration of Columbia College Founder’s Day. Join us as we celebrate our college’s bold past and bright future!

Make a gift on Victory Day 2024 to support one of the many areas of need for our students as we push towards our bright future: the Loyalty Fund, general endowed scholarships, Koala Pantry, College Place Church, interview attire support for students on the job hunt, Koala Athletics, and the Mitzi Winesett Good Samaritan Fund. Your generosity will make a difference in the lives of the students of today—and tomorrow. When you make a one-time gift of $75 or more, or set-up a monthly recurring gift of $18.54, you will receive a limited edition Columbia College tumbler.

Tune in on February 8th to help unlock exciting challenge gifts and help us reach our goal of $80,000 in just 24 hours. No matter the size of your gift, your generosity will combine with the generosity of other community members to contribute to the bright future of Columbia College. Your gift for Victory Day 2024 will support all aspects of the student experience at our College. Today, as much as ever, our students are counting on you!

Areas for Support

Columbia College Endowed Scholarships

The Columbia College Endowed Scholarships fund is open for contributions to support general scholarships available to Columbia College students.

Koala Pantry

The Koala Pantry is a free resource for students in need of food or hygiene products. The pantry is stocked by the generosity of faculty, staff, students, and community members who donate. Your support of the Koala Pantry will ensure that we stay stocked with the necessary products for students in need.

Fund for Student Interview Attire

The purpose of this fund is to ensure all students have access to attire that makes them feel confident and comfortable for their upcoming internship or job interview. We acknowledge that there are often professional standards about attire in the workplace that are not always fair or equitable. Your support of this fund will ensure that students have access to attire that makes an individual confident, comfortable, and ready to show up as a professionally dressed version of their authentic self.

Loyalty Fund

Your support of the Loyalty Fund touches the lives of every student. From technology to academic programs; student success to research; residence life to an engaging environment. Your gift allows the College the flexibility to use these unrestricted funds where they are needed most.

Athletics General Fund

More than 30% of our students participate in one or more of our ten intercollegiate athletic teams. The focus on student athletes cannot be understated. Our students are competitive but learn so much more than just the game. As a 13x Champion of Character recipient, our College takes pride in this important part of our students’ education. Your support provides travel, uniforms, equipment, and facilities upgrades.

Mitzi Winesett Good Samaritan Fund

Never have gifts to support students in need been as crucial as now. Your gift to the fund will assist students and families who are struggling to fund their education because of economic impacts. This fund allows the College the flexibility to help students and their families face future hardships and crises.
