Maggie Moore completed her Master of Trauma-Informed Education degree in 2023. As one of her capstone assignments, she wrote an article for publication in the National Association for the Education of Young Children's magazine Teaching Young Children. After a lengthy editing process, her article was selected and recently published in the spring 2024 issue.
Maggie shared, “I wanted to thank my instructors for leading an incredible program and for encouraging me to take a chance and write for publication.”
In response to Maggie’s recent accomplishment, Co-Chair of the Trauma-Informed Education Master’s Program Karen Beaman said, “Maggie was a passionate and articulate student throughout her time in our program. This program is all about your impact on where you are, no matter your career choice. We are so proud of Maggie, in that she took a courageous step into publishing her work. We look forward to hearing more from Maggie and the impact she will continue to have. Our students continue to amaze us, and Maggie is certainly a great example of that!”
