Biography

Dr. Jennifer Watson joined the faculty at Columbia College in the Fall of 2023 after spending 28 years in the SC Public School System.  Dr. Watson started her career as a Special Education teacher and has worked as a State Preschool Coach, a Disability Specialist, and an Assistant Principal.  With a love for learning, she has a BS in Special Education from Presbyterian College, an MEd in Special Education from the University of South Carolina, an MEd in Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina, and a PhD in Special Education- College Teaching and Research from the University of South Carolina.  Dr. Watson is excited to work in our Special Education Program as an Assistant Professor and our Educational Administration Graduate Program as the Director.
