Biography
Director of Athletics Glen M. Crawford brings with him decades of experience in collegiate athletics through his service to Reinhardt University and Lander University in various coaching and athletic leadership roles. Crawford attained his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Union College in 2003, followed by a Master of Science in Sport Administration and Leadership in 2020 from Reinhardt University, where he served as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Softball Coach from 2007-2015. In 2015, Crawford relocated to Greenwood, SC, where he served Lander University as Head Softball Coach for the last 8 years.
He hopes to guide Columbia College Athletics to a place of national prominence through judicious budgetary utilization, effective fundraising strategies, competitive recruiting efforts, and a positive impact on student-athlete and fan experiences. When asked what excites him about this opportunity, Glen Crawford shared, “I couldn’t be more excited to join the team of coaches and athletic staff at Columbia College.
