Biography

Mr. Robert Riley, a native of Columbia, SC, is a highly accomplished Facilities and Operations Manager with a proven track record in leading and optimizing facility operations. He offers expertise in strategic planning, project management, and team leadership. Mr. Riley brings over 20 years of experience and a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of budget planning, maintenance and operations, a proven record of success in managing multi-million dollar projects simultaneously, improving efficiencies, and reducing operating costs.

In his former role as Manager of Operations at Allen University, Mr. Riley managed every aspect of facility operations, including capital planning and improvements, grounds maintenance, transportation, and quality control. From navigating a complex organizational structure to managing a multi-million budget; supervising staff in multiple departments; and reporting to a multifaceted constituency, which includes a board, his role was instrumental in producing successful outcomes for the institution. As a results-driven professional, he takes pride in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering exceptional results.

In addition to his experience in higher education, Mr. Riley has long-standing bonds in the Columbia community. He graduated from Columbia High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Benedict College.
