Biography

Samelia is a 2018 alumna of Columbia College and currently serves as the Director Accessibility Services. She holds a Master of Education in Higher Education and is an active member of the Board of Directors for SC AHEAD, supporting equitable access for students with disabilities across South Carolina.

Outside of her professional role, Samelia enjoys coaching and attending sporting events and spending quality time with her daughters, Jaliah and Michaela and fiancé Joseph.

What do you love about working at Columbia College?

I love being able to assist students with conquering tasks that they deem impossible due to external or extenuating circumstances. My favorite quote to my student is "I'll walk on water for you, but not in water" (PS I don't like being wet with rain)
