Koala Welcome Room Key Distribution Requirements
To receive your room key and complete the Koala Welcome move-in process, all students must fulfill the following requirements:
- Financial Clearance - Ensure all financial obligations to Columbia College are settled. This includes tuition fees, room and board, and any outstanding balances.
- Class Registration -You must be registered for at least 12 credit hours to reside in the residence halls.
- Official Transcript - Submit your final transcript if it has not already been received and processed. (First Year and Transfer Students ONLY)
- Immunization Records - All students must have an immunization record on submitted and on file.
Koala Connection - Accessing Your Information
To access your academic, financial, and residential information, log in to Koala Connection. It is crucial to review and settle all Columbia College obligations prior to your arrival to avoid delays during Koala Welcome.

- 9:00 AM - 10:15 AM: 3rd Floor Residents

Wesley Hall/Mirse Hall (Transfer Students)

Hand truck/Dolly- Bring your own hand truck or dolly to assist with transporting your belongings from your vehicle to your room.
Travel Delay Form
You must arrive at campus during your designated day and time as listed. No exceptions. Once your move-in time has concluded, the next move-in is on Monday, August 26th, at 8:30am. If you cannot arrive during your time, fill out the Travel Delay Form using your Columbia College email address.
Koala Welcome Weekend Events
During Koala Welcome Weekend, you will have the opportunity to participate in various activities designed to help you acclimate to campus life, meet new friends, and learn about available resources. A detailed schedule of events will be provided upon your arrival. Events for First-time first-year students are mandatory.
