Within the Middle Level Education major, our Social Studies concentration prepares you to create engaging curriculums for 5th-8th grade students. We'll empower you to teach historical trends and lead students to make connections with today's world. You'll be versed in the major events from the earliest civilizations to contemporary issues for a rewarding career teaching history, geography, civics, and more.

Social Studies Education Program Highlights
