Unleash your individual expression and maximize your creative potential with our Arts & Humanities majors. Our instructors are passionate about molding students into leaders and advocates. Our graduates go on to become teachers, non-profit leaders, graduate students, and specialized professionals in fields like dance therapy.

We're an inclusive community of learners who support artistic rigor and individuality. True to our social justice roots at Columbia College, we honor where you come from – classical or non-traditional – and we don't require auditions for our majors.

We also offer generous scholarships of up to $4,000 to eligible incoming and transfer students. Learn about specific scholarship opportunities on our degree pages.

Gratitude from Graduates

I chose Columbia College because of the Dance major. After expressing interest in a career in dance, my parents and high school dance teacher highly recommended the degree at Columbia College, stressing the importance for well-trained teachers in the arts and across SC.
