Dance Studies

Our Dance Studies degree focuses on academic studies, social justice, and leadership skills, so dancers graduate ready to become collaborative performers, choreographers, teachers, scholars, and engaged professionals within the field. They gain real-world opportunities with Columbia College Dance Company (CCDC), guest artists, our resident performing collectives, and access to conferences and festivals.

I chose Columbia College because of the Dance major. After expressing interest in a career in dance, my parents and high school dance teacher highly recommended the degree at Columbia College, stressing the importance for well-trained teachers in the arts and across SC.
